Overview

Derupt is a personal productivity app built with privacy as a core principle. Your data stays on your device.

Data Collection

Derupt does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All task data, captures, plans, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

Data Storage

• All data is stored exclusively on your device
• No data is sent to external servers
• No analytics or tracking services are used
• No third-party SDKs that collect data are included

Microphone and Speech Recognition

Derupt offers an optional voice capture feature that uses Apple's on-device Speech Recognition framework. When you use voice capture:

• Audio is processed by Apple's Speech framework on your device
• Derupt does not record, store, or transmit audio data
• Only the transcribed text is saved as a capture in your local database
• You can deny microphone and speech recognition permissions and still use all other features

iCloud Sync

A future version of Derupt may offer iCloud sync via Apple's CloudKit. If enabled:

• Data would sync only through your personal iCloud account
• Apple manages the encryption and security of iCloud data
• No data would be accessible to the developer

Share Extension

Derupt includes a Share Extension that lets you send text from other apps into your Derupt inbox. Shared text is stored locally in an App Group container and imported into the main app on next launch. No data leaves your device.

Children's Privacy

Derupt does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
